Video Uploads
Please try to keep your video upload file sizes as small as possible. If you try to upload a video and the file size is too big you may get an upload error. Preferably save your files as mp4. This gives the smallest size at reasonable quality.
If you have larger files or in other formats we can recommend using Prism Video Converter Software which is available from NCH software: http://www.nchsoftware.com/prism/
It is available for both Mac and Windows, and is very easy to use.
Selecting Output format as .mp4 (iPhone) should give an optimal result.
Another option is Handbrake which is a free open source video transcoder, very easy to use, and available for download here:

Simply upload your video using the "source" icon on the upper left. Select a destination for the file, then click "start". That's it, there is no need to make any other selections.
There is also other software out there capable of achieving an equally good result. What we are aiming for is the smallest file size that provides acceptable visual quality. If you can recommend an alternative please let us know and we will post the links up on this page.
